Celebrating and Sharing God's Embracing Love in the World

Covenant Conversations

From the earliest days of Methodism, its founder – John Wesley – invited people to renew their covenant with God on a regular basis.

The emphasis of the whole Covenant service is on God’s readiness to enfold us in a generous love which is not at all dependent on our worth or deserving.  Instead, we recognise that it is God who takes the initiative: to bring the world into being, to invite humanity into relationship, and even to extend grace and forgiveness and eternal life to us again and again and again through the life, death, resurrection and ascension of Jesus Christ.

As we recognise the extent of such a gift, we are given the opportunity to respond from a place of gratitude and joy to a deeper commitment to worship and service that will inspire and strengthen us in all the circumstances of our every day lives.

Such an opportunity will be provided at our Annual Covenant Service on Sunday, the 1st of February, at 9a.m.

In addition, we encourage you to journey for the month of February through our Weekly devotional material (simply click on the bold words to the left to view and print the material) and to follow daily reflection questions and/or activities on any of our social media sites listed below:

We also pray that you will carefully consider Covenanting with our community by indicating your interest in Membership, Giving, Fellowship or Service on the form in the included Weekly devotional material. Simply place the form into the “Covenant” box during Sunday Worship or email to and we will get in touch with you to help make Covenant a way of life.

Blessings to you as we begin this sacred journey together!

Hebrews 13:20-21  May the God of peace, who through the blood of the eternal covenant brought back from the dead our Lord Jesus, that great Shepherd of the sheep, equip you with everything good for doing his will, and may he work in us what is pleasing to him, through Jesus Christ, to whom be glory for ever and ever. Amen.
